Palmer Farms matches the unsurpassed meat quality of Icelandic sheep with decades of robust southern gentics from our Dorset stock.  Icelandic sheep are renouned for meat that is fine grained with tender marbling and a mild taste.  The Dorsets contribute size and hardiness. We shear our flock twice yearly to keep our sheep comfortable in the southern heat. The fleece is processed into high quality wool and yarn which is coveted by knitters.
